In Bed with Margaret

I've matured a little when it comes to my purchases. Instead of buying clothes that I don't really need, I buy beddings for our home that we don't really need. Heehee

Our bed : Linens Direct pillow cases and fitted sheet, mixed with generic pillow cases and flat sheet

We had a grand time picking out Daphne Osena-Paez for Linens Direct bed linens some weeks back at the SM Home World Sale. Fitted bed sheets, flat sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers were at 50% off. Hoorah

I was just thinking the other day, how nice it would be to own Margaret Muir linens. Unfortunately, the line, known for its 100% percole cotton embellished with intricate embroidery and delicate hand stitching, is out of my league. I really wish I could afford them, but Margaret Muir pillow cases go for PhP1,999 to PhP3,500 a pair and duvet covers are sold for at least PhP12,000 each. Nyeee. But aren't these so pretty?

The other day, after buying Malik's blender, we came across this -

Ohemgeee.  Guess who went crazy and bought enough Margaret Muir pillow cases to last us this lifetime?  Yahoo.

* In the Philippines, Margaret Muir bed linens are available at Robinsons.

  3. Depends on your bed size Mel. Ours is a queen, for which they only had pillow cases, duvet covers and plain fitted sheets. I don't recommend the plain fitteds. The thread count isn't so great and also with Margaret Muir, what we're really paying for is the embroidery. Gow na!

  4. My bed is queen size too, so I guess not worth the trip :)
