Pao Pahiram

I can't take outfit shots because we don't have a full length mirror at home. I  also don't know how fashion bloggers could take so many pictures of themselves. Do they hire paparazzi to follow them around all day? Self-timer, perhaps?

Anyway, anyone who's seen me lately will know that I like to dress like a little newspaper boy. I enjoy pirating/hi-jacking/kidnapping Pao's clothes and wearing them. Bermuda shorts, loose button downs, front pleated trousers, and menswear-inspired women's shoes are my staples nowadays. In the last two Sundays, for example, my outfits consisted of -

Esprit boyfriend jeans, chambray button-down from SM, Bass loafers

Pao's white polo, beige bermuda shorts from Greenhills, F21 brogues

The change in my fashion sensibilities came shortly before the launch of the following Spring 2011 Ready-to-Wear Collections -

Paul Smith - My favorites are the last two. I love love love to show up at work with my polos buttoned all the way up.

Bill Blass

Dries Van Noten

Regardless of next season's trends, I just love the liberating feeling of wearing sensible shoes that are ideal for carrying a heavy baby around, with laid back clothing that hides my post-pregnancy tummy perfectly. Sometimes, I look sloppy. Sometimes, I look fashionable. Every time, I feel my clothes support rather than hinder my parenting functions. Aylaveet.

thank you so much for your comment. lam mo na those are the days na walaaaaang ka gana-gana ang buntis. But am fine now, atleast for today.

love those trousers. am really looking forward na makasuot ako niyan next year. Right now am putting a good use all of my huge dresses and skirts.
