A long long time ago, we celebrated Malik's first birthday. Malik had no clue what was going on. Haha

Malik: "Ahahahah..."

We're hoping his guests had fun though. There was the usual meet and greet -

Malik: "Okay ito Mommy ah. Chicks na, may regalo pa."
Malik to Amber: "Hey, how you doin?"

Camille did an excellent job painting the kids' faces. (By the way, if you're ever in need of a face painter, look her up. She's great.) -

There were games -

Host: "Pass da balloon in da ober..."
Teacher Neric: "In the what?"

Malik: "Ano bang nangyayari? I'm sleepy. Teehee"

The moms and dads were in on it too -

The kids went ballistic when Jollibee showed up. I don't know what it is with this bee. Kids love him (or her, depends on his/her sexual preference)!

Jollibee: Strike a pose. Vogue, vogue, vogue.

We took pictures at the photo booth -

Jollibee obliged and let us take pictures with him -

Malik: "Oi, sumosobra na kayo ha. Inaantok na talaga ako."

The adults were in on it too -

The honor of blowing Malik's 1st birthday candle went to Zwei -

Everyone: "Happy Birthday Malik!"

Zwei (and Pao): "Pbfffftt."

And then it was time to give away the loot bags -

Gladi: "Here you go, Gab. Thanks for coming!"

I wasn't able to save one for Malik. Awww. It's okay though because as I said, he had no clue what was going on. Aprubs.

Thank you friends and family for braving the traffic in Greenhills and bearing with the limited parking to celebrate Malik's first birthday with us. Pao and I had fun organizing the party, although Pao was his usual stressful self some days before, worrying about the parking and the guests/food/balloons/Jollibee/us arriving late. I personally think the party was a success!

For those who may not be friends with Pao on FB, or like me have no FB, or like my mom have no clue what FB means, click here for more of our party pictures.
