I've seen billboards of Derek and his mom along EDSA but watching the YouTube videos is a first for me. I like the original song the best. That's the second video in this post. I think I heard him sing, "Anna Banana I like you a bunch. I'll dance like your monkey. Let's go out for lunch." Wahaha
I get the mom's drift. If I were in her shoes, I certainly would appreciate Malik's singing. Putting up a YouTube video takes time and guts. Derek would have had to find words that rhyme, write a tune, decide on what to wear, set up the camera, edit the video and find the courage to dedicate it to a girl in his class. These are milestones! What parent would not be proud? Naks.
